KCPara is a small group of people passionate about paragliding.
We own quite a few paragliders, a payout winch for land towing, and a boat with another winch for towing over the lake. Our free flight activities are held on selected roads near the Kansas City metro area. Perry Lake near Lawrence is used for boat towing. A launch on a 250′ high river bluff named Vern’s Hill near Saint Joseph is used for foot launching.
